New York Fashion Week Roundup - Part 1/2
New York Fashion week for spring-summer 2014 is over and although we have just started thinking of our fall wardrobe we can’t miss getting a glimpse to the summery looks that walked on the catwalks, so that we will know what to expect for next spring.
In order not to bore you and since everything will be presented in more detail as we move closer to spring I decided to write just two posts as roundups of Mercedes-Benz Fashion week focusing on the color palettes that had the most prominent place at the shows.
White ruled the runway during the NYFW and since it always makes a perfect combo with black, both of them will be the main theme of my second post. As for today I have prepared for you a selection of romantic gowns mainly in pastel hues but also in earthly browns. Light and airy they whipped and whirled around the models as if a summer breeze was already there.
Carolina Herrera, Badgley Mischka, Zac Posen, Dennis Basso, Oscar de la Renta, Naeem Kahn and Diane von Furstenberg are some of the designers who insist on feminine and elegant dresses for next spring. Enjoy!!!
